Soften Your Selling For More Success
Are you still chasing after new clients with a hard sell approach? Are you trying to “close the sale”, “get more business” and “strike killer deals”?
Try “soft selling” instead. Ask questions, listen, discover real needs and problems, and then suggest how you or your product could deliver meaningful benefits to the person in front of you – the potential client.
Here’s a soft sell memory hook adapted from one I learned from Alex Helligar, a Toronto philosopher who had a successful career in sales. SOFTEN.
Take your time

“Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.”
– Albert Einstein
